Stephanie Hu

Executive Chairman

Stephanie brings over 20 years of consumer products and health and fitness experience to the Fitness Together brand, most recently serving as the President of Life Time Sport (a division of Life Time, Inc.). In this role, she launched the brand’s first stand-alone location and created the marketing, brand and operations strategy. She also served as President of Total Health (the B2B corporate wellness division of Life Time, Inc.) where she created a new health coaching program that exceeded industry standards. Prior to Life Time, Stephanie spent eight years in business and marketing leadership at General Mills driving the growth of iconic brands such as Yoplait, Nature Valley, and Progresso. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and earned a BBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.

Bob Bell

CFO

Mr. Bell has been our Chief Financial Officer since May 2019. From March 2019 to May 2019, Mr. Bell served as our Senior Vice President of Finance and held the same position at WellBiz, WBZ, Holdings, WAVE, ALF, EMFC, FTF, and FTHC Operating Company. From April 2018 to February 2019, Mr. Bell served as our Vice President of Finance and held the same position at WellBiz, WBZ, Holdings, WAVE, EMFC, FTF, and FTHC Operating Company. In addition, Mr. Bell served as Vice President of Finance for ALF from September 2018 to February 2019.From October 2015 to April 2018, Mr. Bell was Vice President of Finance for Raising Cane’s Franchising LLC in Plano, Texas. From October 2011 to September 2015, Mr. Bell served as Director of Finance for Smashburger Franchising LLC in Denver, Colorado.


Scott Wendrych

EVP/COO

Scott’s Fitness Together journey began 14 years ago when he purchased a Fitness Together franchise. After researching small business ownership, he was intrigued by the health and wellness industry and drawn to Fitness Together for the relatively small footprint and the number of employees and the low cost to open. We also liked the fact that it was in a niche market within fitness, which was one-on-one, private, personal training.

Today, Scott is the ECP/COO and been a critical component of growing the brand to the personal training destination that it is today. He oversees the overall operations and management of the business including key areas of sales, training, and support. Scott develops the strategic vision to lead the expansion of the brand presence.


Trever Ackerman

CMO

As the Chief Marketing Officer, Ackerman identifies opportunities for steady revenue growth by designing marketing and communications programs that differentiate the brand through keen consumer and market insights. He consistently leverages first and third-party data sources to uncover opportunity and create value. In his collaborative manner, Trever works directly with the franchise owners and the marketing team to develop initiatives and ongoing strategies that drive business and grow the Fitness Together® brand.

Having most recently served as head of marketing for Les Mills U.S., Trever was responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of marketing and communication strategies. As the head of marketing for 24 Hour Fitness before that; Ackerman is a veteran of the Health & Wellness industry with a keen sense for adapting to the ever changing and growing landscape.


Lauren Johnson

SVP, Franchise Development

An astute franchise development professional with a track record of helping individuals find the next step in their professional life, Lauren is passionate about helping entrepreneurs on their path to ownership. Having been with the Wellbiz Brands family of brands for over five years, Lauren oversees the franchise development for Fitness Together®, Elements Massage® and FIT36®. Additionally, Lauren directs the teams in charge of the real estate and construction processes, assisting franchisees with site selection, lease negotiations, and studio design transfers.

Originally from Chicago and a graduate of Lynn University in Boca Raton, FL, Lauren started her career at Singer Asset Finance buying structured settlement annuities. From there, she moved into the world of Franchise Development and never turned back. As the VP of Franchise Development for Maui Wowi Coffees and Smoothies, Lauren helped hundreds of entrepreneurs find their future business. From there, Lauren worked in franchise development at Navis Logistics and later was a key player for franchise organizations from PuroSystems to Firstlight Homecare, finally landing at WellBiz Brands, Inc. Lauren regularly gains invaluable small business ownership insight from her husband Sean, who owns several businesses in the food and beverage industry.


Carri Bryan

SVP of Legal Services

Previously serving as Vice President of Legal Services, Carri also brings franchising experience from her role as Vice President of Litigation Management for QCE LLC, the parent company of Quiznos Subs. As well as providing overall legal counsel, Carri is responsible for the development, maintenance, and registration of Franchise Disclosure Documents, preparation and signing of franchise agreements, SBA registration requirements, corporate governance matters, trademark oversight, records and document maintenance, vendor contract review, franchisee compliance, and litigation management.

Eric Goetsch

VP of Field Operations

NSCA-CPT, CSCS
Eric is a true hybrid of fitness expertise and business acumen, with degrees in exercise science and business, as well as two NSCA certifications. Starting his career at as a personal trainer in a big box gym, Eric quickly recognized the shortcomings of that career and transitioned to a back-pain clinic corporation as the Director of Training.

Goetsch caught the Fitness Together bug in 2004 and never turned back. Starting as a trainer in a Denver-area studio, ultimately transitioning into the Support Center and eventually becoming the Vice President – Operations. As the head of operations for Fitness Together Eric’s mission is to ensure franchise owners have the tools and resources to be as successful as possible. From aligning Fitness Together with the latest business improvement strategies, technology advancements, and fitness trends to training new systems and procedures, Eric lives and breathes Fitness Together. He facilitates continued education and opportunities for franchise owners to network though town halls, regional meeting workshops and conferences. A gym rat through and through, Eric lifts heavy, eats his protein and always has a gallon of water in-hand.


JD Prager

Sr. Director of Real Estate & Construction

With over six years at WellBiz Brands, Inc, JD has successfully guided 190+ franchise owners through site selection, lease negotiations, space planning and construction. He has been instrumental in improving efficiencies and processes and diligently refines the site selection criteria for optimal studio placement. Through his extensive real estate relationships and development expertise, JD’s step-by-step process guides franchise owners through securing and developing their new Fitness Together® studio.

Previously the Senior Opening Project Manager at Quiznos Sub, Prager was responsible for opening close to 40 new restaurants every two months and led an extensive project management team. Similar to his role at Fitness Together® JD managed critical cycle times and deadlines and supported franchise owners, contractors, and third party vendors to achieve opening timelines. With his extensive experience in the restaurant industry, JD says he “really appreciates the simplicity of the Fitness Together® model and build out.” JD resides in sunny Colorado with his wife and two kids and stays active by training and through a local basketball league.


Matt Stanton

Chief Development Officer

Matthew Stanton is an experienced multi-unit brand executive and oversees the franchise and unit development for Fitness Together®. Matt has over 10 years of franchise development and real estate experience, having served as the vice president of strategy and development for Smashburger, as well as vice president of real estate and franchise development for Taco Bueno Restaurants. Matthew is overseeing the next growth phase of Fitness Together® and works with the development team to educate candidates on the opportunity and select those who are the best fit for the brand. Upon agreement signing, Matt plays a direct role in site selection and the buildout process.
